Welcome to Afeccto ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Afeccto service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Service

Afeccto is a Digital Legacy Vault for storing personal information, documents, instructions, and messages, with the option to deliver them to designated beneficiaries through our reminder and release workflow.

2. Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Prohibited content

You must NOT upload or store: banking passwords, ATM/Debit/Credit PINs, CVVs, OTPs, internet-banking credentials, two-factor backup codes, or any illegal content. Store references and instructions instead.

4. File policy

Allowed: PDF, DOCX, JPG, PNG, WEBP, MP3, WAV, MP4, MOV. Blocked: executables, scripts, and archives containing executables. Storage limits apply per plan.

5. Subscriptions & payments

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly in INR. You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period. GST invoices are provided where applicable.

6. Beneficiary release

If you stop responding to reminders, Afeccto will attempt to verify your status through the Trusted Verifier process before releasing your vault contents to your designated beneficiaries via one-time secure links.

7. Liability

Afeccto is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid in the previous twelve months.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email.
